Slayer Tycoon NPCs
Every vendor worth walking to in a session that does not save.
NPCs in Slayer Tycoon are shops with anime faces. Talk to the wrong one and you spend $9,500 on a cape before you own a Sensei. This list is grouped by job. Landmark help sits on the map. Faction help sits on Slayer vs Demon.
Trainers (pay to unlock, then pay again)
Katana / Breathing Sensei. Bought inside a Slayer tycoon for $5,000. Sells breathings. First line is the “way of the katana” prompt. Switching katanas later still consumes the new kit’s cash and reagents. Full rows: breathing tier list.
Art Sensei. Bought inside a Demon tycoon for $5,000. Sells Blood Demon Arts. Same reagent rule: 1 wood + 1 ore + cash. Rows: demon arts.
Styles Sensei. Free to talk to, found near the waterfall. Sells fighting styles to either faction. No $5k unlock fee, but Soaring still costs $16,000.
Economy NPCs
Lumberjack. Bridge. $650 per wood. Closest “bank” after a tree run.
Miner. Rice-field mineshaft. About $1,900 per Nichirin ore (some older pages $1,400). Highest cash-per-item NPC.
Clothes merchant. Opposite the lumberjack. $9,500 spins for accessories that save.
Udon shop. Demon pad building, about $500, partial heal. Not a world NPC you hunt; you construct it.
Nurse. Slayer pad building, full heal.
Bento vendor. Near the Infinite Train / castle approach, about $600.
Awaken and travel
Biwa Woman / station Biwa Demon. Train tracks, map center. Teleport to Infinity Castle with Easy Teleport (10 R$) or Biwa Art. Also tied to the Biwa boss identity — do not attack the vendor thinking you started the train fight.
Demon King Muzan. Infinity Castle counter for art awakening. v2.0 also lets him spawn at night on the overworld. Bring a Strong Soul and the 250 R$ Awaken pass.
The Master. Slayer HQ. Slayer Mark katanas (Water Flow documented). Same pass + soul.
Combat NPCs (not shops)
Overworld Slayer and Demon mobs exist to punch and to drop a little cash. Boars can drop Boar Head. Bosses are a separate spawn from the Infinite Train — boss guide. Vase Demon is a v2.0 boss, not a merchant, even if Gyokko’s kit is a shop art.
Talk order for a new session
- Nobody. Upgrade the money plate first (money).
- Lumberjack / miner until Sensei cash exists.
- Faction Sensei ($5k).
- Sensei again for Insect or Rooting Gun.
- Styles Sensei only if you still have Soaring money.
- Clothes merchant if the session is ending and cash would vanish.
- Biwa Woman / Master / Muzan only with a soul and the pass.
If an NPC “does not work,” you are probably missing wood, ore, a gamepass, or the faction. The game is old enough that broken prompts get patched; it is rarely a secret emote. Patch notes: updates and links.
Night time is the other NPC trap. Overworld Muzan is a convenience, not a farm loop. If you are carrying three ores, sprint to the miner before you go looking for a glowing king in the snow biome. The clothes merchant does not close at night. The train still announces in chat. Treat every named person as a shop with a cost, not as a story cutscene — Slayer Tycoon will not pause the griefers while you read dialogue.
